So this year has been crazy! I love crazy! I'm amazed at how much all of my kids have changed in 12 months. Britt is a senior and has a job. Jay is now in high school, and is taller than everyone in our family. Ally is in middle school...she's not little anymore! Max is a crazy walker trying to talk toddler!
We've had a great year. In July we went to Lake Tahoe for my families reunion and I turned 40...weird! I always thought 40 sounded so old. I've enjoyed being 40, I have a great spouse who I love more than I did 18 years ago when we got married. I have four amazing kids that keep me busy and I enjoy every bit of it! I love each of my kids different personalities and I so enjoy watching their relationships with each other. Britt and Jay go to early morning seminary together and have a great friendship. Jay only gets out of bed for Britt! Ally is still trying to get used to not being the youngest and is doing that very well. She is a great big sister to Max. She is in middle school without a sibling there to help her and has navigated her way through that experience so well! I so admire her strength and determination to do well. She is excelling at violin and enjoying being on the dance team at her school.
Max keeps me busy...he is such a little tornado. I really look forward to nap time, but miss him when he's sleeping. He's so curious and communicates so well (and usually gets what he wants) I love watching each of the kids with Max. They all adore him and he adores them right back! It's the sweetest part of having him!
Max was a pro at digging in to his birthday cake. He really enjoyed it!
